Twisted Metal Sweet Tooth 16 scale hobby grade RC Ice Cream truck.
So in up cycling rc cars I decided to get a couple of RC twisted metal sweet tooth ice cream trucks, they were made in 2011 for sony. but they were the trucks only so I ended up gutting them and making them into 4 wheel drive drift racing trucks. people liked them so much they were gone in the blink of a eye.
Then I looked at how could I make a large scale sweet tooth rc truck and I looked at a lot of peoples projects but none of them seemed to be exactly how I imagined them being I decided to come up with my own entry into the twisted metal hall of fame, I came up with this design with the help of the 3D printer who has done all of the custom Radiation King name tags for me.
This is a 16 scale 4 wheel drive hobby grade drift racing car chassis with the custom Fan art sweet tooth ice cream truck body and illuminated clowns head, in the 2x 20 scales I rebuilt I had to use spot lights, this one is internally illuminated. 390 engine and metal drive train, angel and demon head lights.

I the equally Great and Insane Radiation King decided to Build a hobby grade 16 scale massive Sweet Tooth ice cream truck which was not cheep as the entire body must be 3d printed.
How ever this allows for a great deal of Fan Art customization, so now the clowns head is internally illuminated even though it is hard mounted and not on a spring.
The body is translucence white and has a internal flashing red and blue lights so the body it self illuminates in darkness.
The head lights are 8 mode angel and demon lights and are controlled by the switch on the transmitter.
It has 4 wheel drive from a 390 brushed engine, comes with a second set of rims and tires for drift racing, a rechargeable battery, charger, mini screw driver. 2.4 Ghz transmitter and receiver.
The truck chassis series is Sg216 Beast.
This is not a official product This is a custom made fan art version of the truck, This is in fact the finished prototype of the SG216 hurricane powered truck.
This series is exactly the same as going to Real truck shop that will put their body on a GMC, Ford or International powered chassis.
This truck is Hobby Grade not toy grade.
The body of this truck weigh's in at 1pound 6 oz. it is thick and rugged.
It takes a entire spool of plastic to make this body.
I ran the prototypes HARD, I had them spinning in circles until they dumped on the ground, prototype II has a brushless engine and I had it going so fast when it dumped it skidded 20 feet on its side and went under a car.
Their was no damage to the body other then scuffed paint and some scrape marks on the plastic.
Due to the bodys weight, I found and tested out Tamiya HD metal body oil filled shocks.
This truck is fully assembled and ready to run, how ever you will have to paint and personalize it your self.
You can run it with the plastic shocks and you will get a lot of comical movement of the body, but if your looking for control install the included metal shocks, they will also fix any body roll issues as well as tire rub in the wheel wells.
Includes: Beast chassis 3.0 truck - ready to run , with plastic shocks installed, 390 brushed engine, 4 wheel drive. UN-painted body.
rubber tires installed, plastic drift tires included, mini screw driver, RC car hex wrench, shock collars, truck battery charger, battery is all ready installed. 4 x nylon front spikes, transmitter remote, 16 scale 4 x 6 menu card, stop for children vinyl front and rear stickers, 4 x Tamiya HD metal body oil filled replacement shocks.
*** the front spikes are not installed, you will have to glue them in place with hot melt glue or a plastic cement such as E-8000, YES they can be painted, I simply used spray paint *****
The body can be painted with common spray paint, model paints, and automotive touch up paint, I used all 3.
You should NOT glue the clowns head in place and leave it as compression fit, so when you crash the truck it can move rather then breaking off the truck
